Dates

  • Abstract submission is open from 21 April to 13 June 2016. To submit your abstract, click above and register in the Conference paying the fee for one day.
  • Abstracts will be reviewed from 14 June to 20 June by an international review panel. The highest scored abstracts will be invited to give an oral presentation (unless authors have specified that they want a poster presentation).
  • Authors will be informed of the acceptance of their abstract by 30 June and, if accepted, whether it is selected to be a poster or oral presentation.
  • Authors must register in the congress to be able to present.

Abstract Topics

Choose the topic from the following list that best fits your abstract. In the case that it fits two or more categories, choose the topic you would prefer to present it under:

  1. Healthy and sustainable values of the Mediterranean Diet in a contemporary dietary pattern and lifestyle
  2. Updating the Mediterranean Diet Pyramid
  3. Assessing the adherence to the Mediterranean Diet: the scoring approach
  4. Promoting the Mediterranean Diet lifestyle pattern
  5. Revitalizing the Mediterranean Diet in the context of sustainable food systems
  6. Mainstreaming the Mediterranean Diet lifestyle into Mediterranean national dietary guidelines

Format

  • Abstract must not exceed 2000 characters
  • Use the following subheadings if appropriate: Introduction / Material & Methods / Results and Discussions / Conclusions
  • Up to 2 tables or images may be included, only simple graphs/images that don’t exceed 500 KB
  • Abstracts must be written in English and proof read and corrected before submission as no further correction will take place before publication. Authors must use the following style:
